Saints Go Playing In Waterford

Pupils from St Johns and St Josephs Special Schools in flying form during their blitz

As some of our Munster players take a well-deserved break after a bruising season, in Waterford, there was a final afoot, as the pupils of St Joseph’s, and St John’s Special Schools faced off in a blitz.

It’s hard to believe that it’s the off-season, with Ireland and the Lions still in action, plenty, therefore, to inspire the students from the two schools in County Waterford, who took on the four-week programme, which included Game Sense, Rugby Skills and Physical Literacy.

The course was conducted in association with the Waterford Sports Partnership, while the blitz took place in the Kingfisher Centre. We would like to thank the coaches, teachers, and pupils who showed some fine skills throughout the four weeks.
