Scoil Bhride & CBS Midleton Play Rugby

The fifth and sixth class boys and girls from Scoil Bhride and Midleton CBS recently participated in the ‘Play Rugby’ programme which cumulated in a blitz day hosted by Scoil Bhride.

The students played their fellow class mates in a number of games over the day learning new skills and rugby techniques along the way.

At the end of the session each school received a 'Play Rugby Pack' consisting of cones, balls and bibs.

In the coming weeks the teachers will undergo some additional upskilling by participating in a Leprachaun Rugby course so they can continue to progress and develop the rugby skills of their students.

Munster Rugby would like to thank Niall McCarthy from Midleton RFC for his help in organising the initiative with the schools and also for assisting on the ‘Play Rugby’ days with fellow club members.
