Scrum Coaching Workshops In Cork And Limerick

The Munster Rugby Development Department are holding coach development workshops on ‘Developing the Scrum’ in Cork and Limerick on Monday.
This initiative is being hosted by the co-ordinators of the Munster Rugby '1-2-3 Club', which is part of the province's Scrum Development Programme.
Marcus Horan and Conor Twomey will be the lead presenters of the workshops which will include both practical (outdoor) and indoor tutorials.
Marcus and Conor will be supported by other Munster Representatives of the IRFU Scrum Programme. The presenting coaches have been working with the IRFU Elite scrum forum and will be outlining the most up-to-date techniques and position-specific developments in the workshops.
Both workshops will be run simultaneously on Monday, February 23 from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. The Cork workshop will take place at CIT and the Limerick workshop will be held at Clifford Park.
Coaches interested in attending are requested to pre-register by Friday, February 20 with course administrator janeburns@munsterrugby.ie.
The Munster Rugby '1-2-3' Club hold scrum clinics every two weeks for up-and-coming young front-row forwards to develop the scrum culture in the province.
