Second Annual John O’Neill Memorial Blitz Held In Waterpark RFC

Earlier this month, the second annual John O’Neill memorial blitz took place in Waterpark RFC in Waterford.
John O’Neill was a Rugby Development Officer with Munster Rugby for many years and he sadly passed away in 2020.
O’Neill was a pivotal figure in helping increase participation and grow the sport for all ages in the Waterford and East Munster region.
Nine schools from the region competed on the day with a total of 200 players taking part.
Athletic Development workshops also took place in conjunction with the games.
The Rugby Development Department would like to thank the O’Neill family for providing food and drinks for the players on the day.
