Nenagh Ormond caused a big shock in the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup with a win over Dolphin, while they were wins for Cashel, U.C.C. and Highfield in the Ulster Bank League.

Division 2A side Nenagh Ormond will now travel to Holders Cork Constitution in the semi final of the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup after their 26-3 home win over Division 1B side Dolphin at New Ormond Park.
Tries from Fergal Hayes and Derek Corcoran and a Kolio Hifo conversion had the home side 12-3 ahead at half time. Daryl Foley kicked a penalty for Dolphin.
Mike Fogarty and Anthony Kavanagh added further tries after the break for the Tipperary side and Hifo converted both.

U.C.C. moved up to third place in Division 2A of the Ulster Bank League after a 30-7 bonus point win over struggling Thomond at Liam Fitzgerald Park.
Tries from Cathal Gallagher, Eddie Earle and Kevin Slater as well as two penalties and a conversion by Kevin O’Keeffe and a Tony Clifford conversion gave the Students a 25-0 half time lead.
Dan Healy secured the bonus point with a second half try
Kevin O’Mahony scored a try for Thomond which Fionn McGibney converted.

Cashel got back in contention for promotion following their 19-0 away win over bottom side Corinthians. Aidan Barron, Ryan O’Donnell and Ed Leamy scored tries for Cashel and Pat O’Connor converted two.

Highfield moved up to second place a point ahead of Sunday’s Well in Division 2B following their 15-10 win over MU Barnhall in a game that was played at the PBC grounds in Wilton.
John Gallagher scored a try for Highfield, who were also awarded a penalty try and Dylan Horgan kicked a conversion and a penalty.

Ulster Bank League Division 2A: Corinthians 0, Cashel 19;
Thomond 7, U.C.C. 30;

Division 2B: Highfield 15, MU Barnhall 10;
Rainey Old Boys 12, City of Derry 19;
Seapoint 6, City of Armagh 6;
