In Division 1A, the three Munster Clubs face Dublin opposition for the third successive weekend.
The game of the day sees Cork Constitution going head to head with defending champions Clontarf for the first time since last season’s decider, which the Dublin side won at the Aviva Stadium. The Leesiders will be looking to build on last week’s home win over Terenure College and climb further up the table.
Leaders Young Munster travel to the Capital to take on bottom side Terenure College and Garryowen, who are second from bottom, entertain sixth-placed St Mary’s College.
UL Bohemian and Shannon lock horns in a Limerick derby at Thomond Park in Division 1B. UL Bohemian, who were defeated by Buccaneers in their top of the table clash in Athlone last time out, will be expected to get back to winning ways. This will be a tough assignment for Shannon who recorded their first win of the campaign against Dolphin at the same venue.
UCC make the long trip to County Down to take on Ballynahinch in a mid-table clash and Dolphin, who are propping up the table, will have their work cut out as they entertain fourth-placed Naas.
Highfield, who slipped to their first defeat against third-placed Blackrock College and are now in fifth place, will be expected to get a result form their home meeting against bottom side Belfast Harlequins in Division 2A.
Leeside neighbours Sunday’s Well travel to Belfast to take on Malone in a mid-table encounter, which is the ‘Well’s first AIL match since their 6-6 draw against Highfield at Woodleigh Park on the Friday evening of the October Bank Holiday weekend.
Struggling Cashel are away to Ulster opposition for the second successive weekend as they take on Banbridge at Rifle Park. The Tipperary side moved off the foot of the table with wins in recent weeks against Belfast Harlequins and Blackrock College.
Premier County neighbours Nenagh Ormond, who are second, will be aiming to keep their challenge on track as they host sixth-placed Galway Corinthians.
Thomond, who recorded their first win of the campaign against Skerries at Liam Fitzgerald Park to move off the foot of the table, are away to Division 2B leaders City of Armagh.
Limerick neighbours Old Crescent, who are hovering above the drop zone, will be looking to make the most of home advantage count in a bid to avoid a quick return to Division 2C as they entertain bottom side City of Derry.
Kanturk and Bruff go head to head in a basement clash at Knocknaconlon in Division 2C and Midleton travel to the Yeats County to take on Sligo.
