Three outstanding games in the All Ireland League were played this weekend.
Garryowen who ended Lansdowne’s unbeaten run last week are back in the hunt for a top four finish in Division 1A after their 52-20 win over Dublin University at Dooradoyle.
Garryowen moved into fourth place in the UBL by thrashing Dublin University at Dooradoyle.
The winners scored seven tries with David Johnston scoring two and Neil Cronin, James McInerney, Liam Coombes, Darren Ryan, and Robert Meyer getting one each. Cronin converted all seven tries and also added a penalty for a twenty two point tally.
A last minute converted try by Galwegians at Crowley Park gave the Connacht side a 16-14 win over Nenagh Ormond in their Division 2A encounter. Nicky Irwin was Nenagh’s try scorer and Clayton Stewart added three penalties.
