With only half of the games in the Ulster Bank League scheduled this weekend going ahead, two of the eight games played involved Munster sides.
The two games played in Division 2A resulted in a bonus point win for leaders Banbridge over Queens University and second placed Malone defeated Skerries.
In Division 2B Sunday’s Well made it six wins from six with a 9-6 win over Dungannon. This game scheduled for Irish Independent Park was transferred to the Mahon where each of the three pitches their hosted two games.
The sides were level 6-6 at half time. Shane O’Riordan kicked two first half penalties for the Well to give them an early 6-0 lead.
O’Riordan restored their lead early in the second half, while Paul Armstrong was off target with two efforts for Dungannon.
The other game in this Division saw Greystones move into second place with a 23-13 away win over Bective Rangers.
Old Crescent still remain top of Division 2C despite their 15-9 defeat by Bruff at Kilballyowen Park under lights on Friday night.
Larry Hanly kicked three penalties to give Old Crescent a 9-3 half time lead. Tony Cahill replied with a penalty for Bruff.
A try by Declan Bannon converted by Cahill put Bruff ahead 10-9 after sixty four minutes. John Hogan scored a second try for the home side in injury time.
Tullamore moved up to second after their 49-0 home win over struggling Sligo.
Boyne defeated Dundalk 21-18 and Wanderers slipped down to fourth after their 28-18 defeat away to Navan.
