Six Munster Players Named In Ireland U18 Squad

Ireland Under 18 Clubs Head Coach Wayne Mitchel has named six Munster players in the twenty four man squad to face France and England in a three Nations Tournament in Paris this month.
With Dylan Power from Waterpark on the injury list, Munster is represented by five clubs. Clonakilty players Joe White and Phillip Poillot have been named as well Bruff’s Brian Fanning, Ben Betts from Young Munster and Sean O'Leary from Midleton.
Josh Barnes, brother of former Ireland Youth and Munster player Danny Barnes, has also been named representing Tralee RFC.
Commenting on the selection Ireland Squad Manager Tom Nyhan said “twenty one different clubs are represented on this Irish Squad, five of which are Exiles as well as five players that will also qualify again next season”.
Having successfully defeated Italy in Parma last month, the Irish Youth squad face two very strong sides, France on 12th April and England on Wednesday 16th April. Both games kick off at 3pm (local time).
