Six Nations Trophy Visits St Mary’s Secondary School

Teachers and students of St Mary’s Secondary School, Corbally, Limerick recently held a schools tag rugby blitz for girls from Limerick and Tipperary secondary schools.

St Mary’s Rugby Club provided their pitches on the day with Munster Rugby staff on hand to assist with officiating the matches.

Grand Slam winners Niamh Kavanagh, Joy Neville and Niamh Briggs paid a special visit on the day to meet the girls and answer all their questions about women’s rugby and what it takes to succeed at the highest level.

Participants thoroughly enjoyed the day and St Mary’s Secondary School look forward to hosting similar girls tag rugby blitzes in the future.
