Smiles Under The Sunshine At Nenagh Blitz
11th May 2017 By The Editor
Despite the domestic season coming to a close, those at Nenagh Ormond made the most of the fantastic weather sweeping the province at the moment, to give more primary school children the opportunity to try their hand at rugby.
Toomevara NS, Ballinaclough NS, Silvermines NS, Carrig NS, Newtown NS, Lisenahall NS all took part in a blitz under the sunshine, in which 130 kids from third class onwards tried their hand at competitive rugby at Nenagh Ormond RFC.
The standard of rugby on the day was second-to-none, and those will be hoping to one day emulate local boy Donnacha Ryan in stepping into the Munster shirt.
We’ll be hoping to see plenty of these kids at the Bank of Ireland Munster Rugby Summer Camp which take place in Nenagh from Monday 14th to Friday August 18th, and in venues around the province.
