South Munster RDS Presentations

The South Munster Regional Development Squad (RDS) were given presentations by John Lacey, Joe McGinley, Conor Twomey and David Lee last month as part of their continued development.

Munster Rugby Coach Development Officer and international referee John Lacey (right) gave a presentation to the RDS and Combined Squads on the Laws of Rugby with a focus on tackle and breakdown areas.

The presentation was hugely beneficial as John emphasised the need to be “intelligent players when it comes to the Laws of the game”.

Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach Joe McGinley (left) also gave a presentation to the RDS and Combined squads on the importance of nutrition. Joe emphasised the need to eat, sleep and hydrate to the players.

The forwards were given a clinic on scrum technique session and that was overseen by Conor Twomey and David Lee using new techniques and equipment.
