Squad Update | Munster Women Preparing For Interpro Campaign

The Munster Women’s squad are continuing their preparations ahead of the Interprovincial Championship which takes place in August.

Munster, who have won the last two interprovincial championships, will begin their new campaign on Saturday, August 12th.

A squad of 45 are currently training at Munster Rugby’s High Performance Centre with Niamh Briggs and Fiona Hayes continuing in their head coach and assistant coach roles. The squad are also supported by Munster Rugby Academy and Development staff including Head of Rugby Operations Ian Costello, Provincial Talent Coach Ian Keatley, Elite Player Development Officer Tommy O’Donnell and former Ireland international Sean Cronin.

A reduced squad will be finalised in the coming weeks ahead of the start of the Interprovincial series.

Niamh Briggs’ squad will be the first to wear our new home kit when they kick off their Interprovincial campaign on August 12th with fixture details and kick-off times to be confirmed soon.

The squad will also take on the Barbarians as part of a historic double-header with the men’s team in Thomond Park on Saturday, September 30th with tickets on sale here.
