St. Mary’s & Cobh Set For Battle

Cobh pirates claimed a 30-3 win over Clonmel yesterday evening at their home grounds in Newtown, to book their place in the Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Cup Final
The face a strong St. Mary’s side, who overcame Skibbereen 24-15 to claim their final spot set for Sunday, 11th May (kick-off 2.30pm) at Charleville RFC.
Both sides finished up at 3rd and 5th place respectively in the Munster Junior 1 league. The fixture promises to be an evenly contested final as both sides target the silverware last won by Kanturk RFC.
Tipperary sides Clanwilliam and Clonmel will also be in action on Sunday at Musgrave Park (kick-off 2.30pm) when they compete for the prestigious Munster Junior Challenge Cup.
