St. Mary’s Leprechaun Rugby Blitz
12th May 2015 By Munster Rugby
St. Mary’s RFC, in association with Munster Rugby, held a Leprechaun rugby blitz at the club last month.
Leprechaun rugby is a fun, non-contact version of the game complete with uncontested scrums and line-outs.
Six teams from three local national schools participated on the fun-filled day. These schools were: Scoil Iosagain, Scoil Ide and Gaelscoil Saersail.
Munster Rugby would like to thank St. Mary’s director of rugby Niall McNamara, who was on hand to inform the children of the benefits of joining St. Mary’s. St Mary’s boasts a healthy mini section which trains on a Sunday morning. For information, contact St. Mary’s mini and youth officer Eoghan O’Byrne on 087 7631001
