The Bank of Ireland Age-Grade club competitions are continuing throughout the province as both the girls and boys competitions reach different stages.

In the boys’ competitions at both U18 and U16 level, the initial conference stages have been completed with clubs now seeded into the respective Cup, Plate and Bowl competitions based on their performances so far.

Last year’s finalists in the U18 cup competition, Cobh Pirates and Waterpark, have both entered the cup stage of the competition with Waterpark winning seven from seven in the Conference stage. Other clubs who have entered the cup stage with impressive performances so far include Old Crescent, Ennis, Kinsale and Highfield.

In the U16 competition, last year’s winners Waterpark topped their group to guarantee their entry to the cup. Young Munster, Nenagh Ormond, Highfield and Bandon all have 100% records going into the cup stage of the competition.
