State Of Play | Munster Clubs Age-Grade Cup Competitions

The Munster Clubs Age-Grade Cup competitions have officially begun with the opening two rounds of the boys U18.5 and U16 kicking off earlier this month.
In group one of the boys clubs U18.5 Munster Cup Kinsale lead the way on eight points after winning their opening two games against last year’s winners Waterpark and Garryowen.
Waterpark sit in second with two points from a draw and a loss.
Nenagh Ormond are third on two points while Garryowen props up the table in fourth.
In group two Shannon are on top with maximum points from their first two games.
Rugbaí Chorca Dhuibhne are level with Highfield in second with four points a piece.
While Cobh Pirates are bottom having lost to Rugbaí Chorca Dhuibhne and Highfield.
In group three there is a three way tie between Old Christians, Midleton and Ennis who all sit on four points.
Old Christians and Ennis have two games played with a win and a loss each.
While Midleton secured their four points by beating Old Christians 12-26.
Young Munster sit tie up the table in fourth having lost to Ennis.
Finally in group four Bandon take the top spot with eight points to their.
Clonakilty and Killarney sit in second and third with four points a piece.
While Dungarvan sit at the tail end having lost both of their opening games to Bandon and Killarney.
In the Boys Clubs Under-16 Munster Cup Clonakilty top the table in group one with eight points.
Cashel sit in second on two points after two games while Kilrush also sit on two points after just one game.
Killarney prop up the table in fourth place.
In group two Cork side Kinsale take the top spot having won both of their opening games.
Newcastle West and Young Munster take second and third respectively with four points apiece.
While Nenagh Ormond are fourth having lost both of their opening games.
Last year’s runners-up Old Christians top the group three table with Clonmel trailing just four points behind them.
Cobh Pirates also earned themselves four points and are in third after a win and a loss in their opening games.
UL Bohemian tie up group three as they sit in fourth.
Waterpark top the table in group four also with eights points.
Ballincollig and Kanturk take third and fourth with both being on four points.
While the amalgamation of Crosshaven/Cork Constitution take up the rear in fourth place with zero points.
Fixtures for both competitions will continue in the New Year with the top two of each group earning their place in the knock out stages.
