Summer Camp Staff Upskill On New Programme

Munster Rugby Summer Camp staff recently took part in a training day at University of Limerick and Irish Independent Park, Cork.

With four weeks to go before the Bank of Ireland Summer Camps 2016 kick off, all coaching staff were upskilled on this year’s new programme coordinated by Munster Community Rugby Officer Ray Gadsden.

The new programme will focus on skills and various rugby techniques incorporating a series of games and activities with the primary focus on fun.


This summer Munster Rugby have a total of 22 venues throughout the whole province (please see below for your nearest venue) commencing on 4th July in Cork, Clare and Limerick.

Please note there is an online booking facility in place – If you wish to book online for your preferred venue you will be asked to register with Easy Payments Plus to ensure secure payment.

Camp places are available for boys and girls from 6 years old to 12 years old.

Each camp takes place over one week (Monday through to Friday inclusive) between 9:30am and 1:30pm.
The cost is €;85 per child. Additional children from the same family can attend for the discounted rate of €;75 per child.

MRSC Junior Club Members receive a special discounted price of just €;75 per child. To avail of the Junior Club discount please email ciaralyons@munsterrugby.ie or call 021 4323563 for further information.

Each participant will receive an Official Summer Camp Pack comprising an Adidas Summer Camp T-Shirt, Adidas Shorts, Adidas Socks, Draw-String Bag, Mouth Guard and one Junior ticket to a Munster pre-season match.
