Summer Camps Get Underway
8th July 2010 By Munster Rugby
The Munster Rugby Summer Camps, sponsored by Centra, got off to a flying start this week at three Munster venues.
Week one of the camps took place at Bandon RFC, Garryowen FC and Newcastlewest RFC with a great turn out of numbers at each camp.
Excitement levels rose yesterday at the Newcastlewest Camp with the appearance of Munster players Ian Dowling and Declan Cusack. Barry Murphy and Felix Jones took time out also from their busy pre-season training schedule to visit the Garryowen Camp while Billy Holland and Stephen Archer paid a most welcomed visit to Bandon RFC.
Upcoming Summer Camp places are available throughout the province for boys and girls from 6 years old to 13 years old.
Each camp takes place over one week (Monday through to Friday inclusive) between 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Fees are the same as last summer, 99 euro per child. The family discount offer if 99 euro for the first child and 90 euro per sister/brother thereafter.
Each participant will receive an Official Summer Camp Pack (Adidas back pack, Summer Camp t-shirt, Adidas shorts, Adidas socks, mouth guard and one school pupil ticket to a Munster Rugby pre season match).
Make sure to sign up to one of the remaining camps this summer in the following venues and don’t miss out on any of the action!
