Tag Rugby Blitz At Glanmire Community College
19th May 2016 By Munster Rugby
Munster Rugby recently ran a mixed tag rugby blitz for 1st and 2nd year students attending Glanmire Community College.
Over 280 students took part in the one day event, which was the season finale of Munster Rugby’s Emerging School programme, conducted at the college over a six week period.
Munster Rugby have been running blitz days throughout the province for secondary school pupils attending non-traditional rugby playing schools.
This initiative has been developed to give young people attending non traditional rugby playing schools the opportunity to play the sport and it is hoped they will continue to participate at their local club.
