Temple Hill Hosts Munster U20s

The Easter break from schools has seen the Munster U20 Squad continue their screening plans for the 2013/14 Interprovinicial Series this September.

Last week the squad trained in the University of Limerick on Monday and played a trial game on Wednesday on the UL 4G pitches. This week the squad moved to Cork where they trained on Tuesday in CIT and this evening, 4th April, they will play a Cork Con U21 selection in Temple Hill with a 6.45pm kick off.

During the entire screening process approximately 50 players have been assessed at various sessions or have been watched by Munster U20 selectors while playing for their Clubs and Schools in the various domestic competitions.

The current U20s panel will be reduced to a squad of 26 at the end of April who will take part in the five week Munster Rugby Talent Camp programme as part of their Interprovincial Series preparations.
