Third Week Of Summer Camps Winds Down

An at times scorching week three is sadly coming to a close at the Bank of Ireland Munster Rugby Summer Camps, but what another memorable experience it has been for our #FutureReds.

This week Dave O’Callaghan and Brian Scott were in Midleton while JJ Hanrahan and Sean McCarthy were down west at Castleisland RFC in Kerry, taking in some of the sun and taking time out of their busy schedule to see some stars of the future.

Both sets of players immensely enjoyed their time at the two camps, and as per usual their stay extended a little bit longer than expected, not that any of those assembled minded.

Next week we look forward to visiting Cobh RFC, St Brendan’s College Killarney, and Kinsale RFC.

This summer we have a total of 23 venues throughout the whole province (click here to find your nearest venue).

Camp places are available for boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old and take place over one week (Monday through to Friday inclusive) between 9:30am and 1:30pm.

The current crop of boys and girls will get the chance to make new friends, learn more about rugby values such as teamwork, respect and integrity, and also become more aware of the importance of physical fitness. All this while learning to develop the basic rugby skills of passing, tackling (in a controlled environment), evasion and kicking.

You can check out a video of the camps this year!
