Three Wins Out Of Four For Munster Rep Sides

Defeat for Munster U19’s in their Group A Inter Provincial Championship game against Leinster at Donnybrook as Munster won the Group B series and there were also victories for the Under 18 Schools and Club sides.

Leinster U19s 42, Munster U19s 20

Leinster were convincing winners in this Group A Inter Provincial championship at Donnybrook.

Out Half Tom Kiersey contributed a try, two conversions and two penalties to Munster’s tally and Cronan Gleeson also scored a try.

Munster won the Group B Inter Provincial series with a 19-12 victory over Leinster at Donnybrook and so went through their campaign with three victories from their three games.

Daniel Montgomery was Munster’s try scorer and Darragh McNamara kicked a conversion and four penalties.

Munster began their Under 18 Club Inter Provincial campaign with a thirteen point victory over Ulster at Thomond Park.

Munster dominated the opening half and were thirteen up at the break with tries from Jonathan Hayes and Jack O’Donoghue and Adrian Enright kicked a penalty.

Next up for Munster is a trip to Donnybrook next Saturday to face Leinster.

Munster finished their Schools Inter Provincial campaign with a narrow victory over Ulster at Thomond Park.

A late try by Greg O’Shea which Gearoid Lyons converted sealed victory for Munster. Jack Dinneen and Greg Barry also scored tries for Munster and Lyons converted both and also added a penalty.
