Throwback | Bank Of Ireland Munster Clubs Age-Grade Finals 2019

Munsterrugby.ie look back at the Bank of Ireland Munster Clubs Age-Grade Finals from season 2018/19.

A festival of boys age-grade rugby took place at Irish Independent Park on Sunday, March 24 2019, with eight teams competing across four finals.

West Cork clubs, Skibbereen and Bandon, lifted silverware with Skibb claiming the Munster U18 Cup after edging out Cobh Pirates 8-3 while Bandon defeated Ennis 19-10 in the final of the Munster U16 Cup.

Skibbereen and Bandon went on to be crowned All Ireland champions in their respective age-grades.

Clonakilty claimed the U18 Plate earlier in the same season, Young Munster won the U16 Plate, Crosshaven-Dolphin RFC lifted the U16 Bowl, and Douglas-Carrigaline RFC secured the U18 Bowl at a later date.

The Bank of Ireland Munster Girls Club Finals Day took place at UL Bohemian RFC, Annacotty, with 12 teams participating across six finals on Saturday, March 23 2019.

Ennis lifted the U18 Cup after defeating Listowel 27-5 and Abbeyfeale claimed the U16 Cup following a 12-7 victory over Shannon.

Fethard won the U18 Plate, while Ennis claimed the U16 Plate. UL Bohs/St Mary’s lifted the U18 Bowl, while Bruff won the U16 Bowl.

Ennis RFC lifted the Bank of Ireland Munster Girls U18 Cup.

Abbeyfeale won the Girls U16 Cup.

Young Munster lifted the Boys U16 Plate. 

Ennis won the Girls U16 Plate.

UL Bohs/St Mary’s lifted the Girls U18 Bowl.

Crosshaven-Dolphin secured the Boys U16 Bowl.

Bruff won the Girls U16 Bowl.
