Thurles Transition Year Girls Blitz

The Munster Rugby Development Department recently ran an all-girls transition year blitz in Thurles RFC.

Munster Rugby Recruitment and Participation Officer Aiden McNulty co-ordinated the blitz. McNulty has been visiting the Ursuline Secondary, Presentation Secondary and Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed school to introduce the girls to leprechaun rugby over the course of the school year with Sean Lanigan Ryan.

The very enjoyable blitz saw all of the girls put into practice the skills they had learnt and played with great spirit.
The icing on the cake for all the girls was the opportunity to have their photo taken with both the men's and women's 6 Nations trophies.

Munster Rugby would like to thank all the girls for their great efforts on the day and Sean Lanigan Ryan for all of his great work.
