Tralee RFC Host Mini Rugby Workshop

The Munster Rugby Development Department held a Stage 1 Mini Rugby workshop for coaches from clubs across West Munster at Tralee RFC over the weekend.

A total of 28 participants reviewed the Rules & Regulations for the different levels of mini rugby, and also explored effective player development through a game-sense coaching approach.

The workshop provided an opportunity for coaches who have attained the Stage 1 qualification to revisit key aspects of mini rugby coaching through indoor and outdoor sessions.

The workshop was organised by West Munster Mini Chairman, Liam Murphy, and facilitated by Munster Rugby Development Officer, Euan Gee, and Participation Programme Co-Ordinator, Ray Gadsden, with Tralee’s Marie Finnegan also on hand throughout.
