U-17 Clubs Side Beaten By Italian Academy

The Munster U17 clubs side faced probably their toughest challenge to date when they played Academia Torino in UL last Saturday.

The touring Italian Academy side that is based in the Torino/Genoa area contained five players from the Italian U-18 side and three players from Italy's U-17 team.

Early on in the game, the Italians were quick to show their pace and power which resulted in a couple of early tries.

Munster improved as the game went on and managed to score twice in the final 25 minutes but it was Academia Torino who finished the game as worthy winners.

Munster Rugby would like to thank Academia Torino players and management for the fixture and wish them every success in the future.
