U-18 Schools Blitz In Tipperary

Munster Rugby recently held a very successful 7-a-side blitz in Nenagh College for Tipperary schools.

Andy Brace, Fiach O'Loughlin and Euan Gee of the Munster Rugby Development Department co-ordinated the blitz with five schools participating on the day in a round robin format.

The schools competing were St. Ailbe's, Tipperary, Nenagh College, Colaiste Dun Iascaigh, Cahir, Scoil Ruain Killenaule and Newport.

Some great running rugby was played throughout from all the participating schools. It was notable how well the players adapted and embraced sevens rugby despite experiencing it for the very first time.

Munster Rugby would like to thank John Johnston of Nenagh College for organising the event and the use of the facilities on the day.The Colaiste Dun Iascaigh side finished as runners up
