U18 Clubs Squad Named For Connacht

Noel O’Meara, Head Coach of the Munster U18 Clubs has named his squad to face Connacht at the Sportsground on Saturday, 12th January, ko 1pm.

The U18 Clubs interprovincial series has been extended this year to facilitate the Ireland U18 Clubs management team who will select their final squad to compete in the FIRA (Federation International Rugby Association) championship this March in Paris.

The winner of Saturday’s match in Galway will play the winner of Ulster v Leinster the following week, 19th January in Mullingar RFC to decide the interprovincial title. The losers of the two matches will square off for third and fourth place on the same day.

All players will then move on to challenge for places in the Munster U19 side as Noel O’Meara and his assistant coaches will concentrate on selecting a new batch of U18 Clubs players to compete in September’s interprovincials.
