U19 Win in Belfast.

A great performance from the Under 19 Munster side at Shaws Bridge saw them defeat Ulster 21-3 in the first of two games.

Ulster opened the scoring with a penalty after fifteen minutes but Munster out half Sean Og Murphy equalised six mintes later. Jamie McGarrrry put Munster ahead with a try after thirty minutes which Sean Og Murpy converted.
Three minutes later Munster were awarded a penalty try and the out half again converted to leave it 17-3 at half time.
The only score of the second half was a penalty from replacement Paul Curtis.

Elsewhere it was a disappointing day as Munster lost the second Under 19 encounter against Ulster 24-0 at Shaws Bridge.

Munster lost their opening game in the Under 18 Clubs Inter Provincial Championship at Ballinakill 15-13.

Tom Kiersey scored a try to put Munster ahead in the opening half and Shane O’Leary kicked a penalty.

Leinster come from 8-3 down at the break to race into a 15-8 lead before Munster responded with a try from Adrian Enright but it wasn't to be for the home side.
