UCC Host Munster U18 Boys Trial Match As Part Of 150 Year Celebrations

As part of UCC RFC’s 150 year anniversary this season, the club hosted a trial match for the Munster U18 Boys Schools squad.

The Mardyke club are currently celebrating their 150th year and are the third oldest club in Ireland and the oldest in Munster.

As part of this landmark year, the club have hosted a number of events throughout the season including hosting Ireland Students v France Students in January.

On Wednesday, a trial match took place for the Munster U18 Boys squad in the Mardyke as part of preparations for the summer interprovincial programme.

As part of the day, the players were given a tour of the UCC facilities by a club representative and a meal also took place after the match.
