Under 18 Girls 7s Interpro Blitz Day A Great Success
6th July 2016 By Munster Rugby
The newly formed Munster Under 18 Sevens girls side took part in a Sevens Interprovincial Development Blitz last Saturday at Westmanstown RFC.
Munster began the day by overcoming their Connacht counterparts before suffering a narrow defeat to Leinster.
Their final fixture was against Ulster where they drew level to complete a very enjoyable day of sevens rugby.
The squad, coached by Matt Browne, will travel to Tullamore RFC on Saturday, 23rd July to compete in their second Interprovincial Development Blitz as the game continues to grow throughout the country.
Their final fixture of the series will take place on Saturday, 6th August at St. Mary’s RFC, Dublin.
The squad of 21 began training in June and will continue throughout the summer as they focus on developing their skills.
