Under 20’s Put Up Brave Performance
17th September 2010 By Munster Rugby
Leinster won the Under 20 Interprovincial Championship with a 35-18 win over Munster at Donnybrook.
The scoreline does not resemble the effort of the Munster side who were well in the game until the final few minutes when Leinster ran in two late tries to clinch the championship.
Leinster led 8-7 at half time with Cathal O’Flaherty scoring a try for Munster four minutes before the break and JJ Hanrahan converted.
Two penalties on 42 and 47 and a try by Hanrahan seven minutes from time had Munster in with a chance of causing an upset, but it was not to be.
