Underage Coaching Workshop At Skibbereen RFC

As underage rugby continues to grow at Skibbereen RFC Munster Rugby recently hosted an U13 and U14 coaching workshop at their club grounds on Mill Road.

The Skibbereen U13 players and their coaches participated in a ‘Players In The Space’ coaching module which included work on realignment, spacial awareness and catch and pass.

Continuity In Contact was the primary focus for Skibbereen’s U14 side. Their coaches were tutored in areas such as ‘the ball carrier’ and ‘close support line’.

Both players and coaches worked together on the various practical elements of the coaching modules and will put their new techniques into practice during upcoming competitive fixtures.
