Victory For ArdScoil Ris In Avonmore Schools Junior Cup

ArdScoil Ris earned a home quarter final tie against Rockwell in the Avonmore SuperMilk Munster Schools Junior Cup after their 17-7 victory over Glenstal Abbey School at Coonagh.

ArdScoil’s winger Lloyd White got the only score of the opening half with a try after twelve minutes and David O’Mahony converted to give the Limerick school a 7-0 interval lead.
O’Mahony extended ArdScoil’s advantage with a penalty before second row Neilus Mulvihill scored a try for Glenstal which Max Ryan converted.
An intercept by skipper Shane Fenton in the final minute which O’Mahony converted ensured victory for the Limerick school’
