Victory For Munster Women

Munster began their defence of their Women’s Inter provincial title with a 28-18 away win over Connacht at Corinthian Park.
Munster ran in four tries with Niamh Kavanagh, Geraldine Rae, Nicola Scully and Olivia Stapleton all crossing the line and Niamh Briggs converted all four.
The Munster Development squad defeated Connacht 13-0 and an Under 18 Club side drew with Connacht 20-20.
Next up for Munster is a home tie against Ulster next Saturday 10th September at Dooradoyle (Garryowen FC) at 1.00pm and the week after they face Leinster at Woodleigh Park (Highfield RFC).
