Victory For U18 Schools

The Munster U18 Schools side, sponsored by Avonmore, bounced back from their defeat against Leinster to record their first victory of the Interprovincial series defeating Connacht U18 Schools 10-3 at the Sportsgrounds in Galway yesterday.

The home side opened the scoring with a penalty but Munster's Gearoid Lyons responded to draw the sides level 3-3.

It wasn't until the last play of the game before replacement Tom Ryan scored the only try of the game with Lyons adding the extras to give Munster a 10-3 victory against Connacht.

Next up for the U18s is Ulster in Thomond Park on Saturday 24th at 3pm.
