The inaugural Munster Rugby Inclusion Camp took place at Ballincollig RFC last month, providing children with all disabilities, aged between 6 and 12-years-old, with three days of rugby fun.

The Munster Rugby Development Department focused on adapting rugby to meet the needs of camp participants while also maximising their enjoyment.

The content of the camp was matched to the abilities of the players to ensure rugby specific coaching was delivered in an appropriate and safe manner.

Several children who participated in the camp are members of the Ballincollig Warriors adapted tag team, which provides a mainstream environment for minis with additional needs.
