The Bank of Ireland Munster Rugby Talent Camp is in its second week running which sees the Munster U18 Club and School sides prepare for the upcoming interprovincial series at Rockwell College, Co. Tipperary.
Both squads convened last week for an induction to their five week residential camp programme hosted by the Munster Domestic Rugby Department.
Players have been selected from their respective clubs and schools over the past few months as part of the Munster player identification process and will reside in Rockwell College from Tuesday to Thursday until the beginning of August, where they will take part in extensive training and educational modules.
Programmes will include on-pitch activities, strength and conditioning and player welfare tutorials focusing on diet and nutritional needs.
The Bank of Ireland Munster Rugby Talent Camp will incorporate preparations for the upcoming interprovincial campaigns commencing this September where both side open their campaign away to Leinster.
Throughout this five week period it is envisaged players will be identified for the Academy and Development Squads as part of Munster Rugby's overall objective in building for the future.
