The Munster Rugby Development Department welcomed Ballyseedy Home & Garden Volunteer of the Month Award winners to Thomond Park for Munster’s Guinness PRO14 Interpro derby clash with Leinster over the festive period.

The Ballyseedy Volunteer Recognition Programme has so far rewarded three monthly winners, including Polly Murphy of Fethard and District RFC, Ger Desmond from Muskerry RFC and David Dunne of St Senan’s RFC.

As part of their winning prize, the three volunteers were awarded with a hospitality package for two, which included tickets to Munster’s 26-17 win over Leinster.

The Ballyseedy Volunteer Recognition Programme rewards people working hard behind the scenes within clubs and schools throughout the province.

Munster Rugby identifies the need to reward those individuals who have dedicated their time by honouring them with a recognition programme while also raising their profile.

The programme began in October of last year and will run until March 2019 with a reward scheme consisting of individual ‘Volunteer of the Month’ awards, which include a hamper and hospitality package for two plus tickets to a Munster home game.
