Waterford City Blitz

Munster Rugby recently held a Blitz Day at Waterford City RFC with over 200 children in attendance.

Boys and girls from Under 7 to Under 12 took part in the event representing their clubs which included Waterford City, Waterpark and newly established Tramore RFC.

All participants enjoyed a fun day with plenty of fast flowing rugby on display for the large number of parents and spectators that attended.

An addition to the excitement was the presence of the 6 Nations Trophy which is currently on tour throughout the province.

The young players and their parents were delighted with the opportunity to get their photo taken with the trophy in what was an added bonus to a great day.
