In a relatively quiet weekend as the season winds down, the Bateman Cup final is down for decision, together with two Junior finals and the final round of the All Ireland Provincial league fixtures.

Bateman Cup holders Cork Constitution will be aiming to complete a three-in-a-row as they take on Clontarf in the decider to add to their Munster Senior Cup and title at the end of a disappointing Ulster Bank League campaign. Con’ lost their recent league encounter 43-28 in Castle Avenue and will want to finish their season with a home win.

Clonmel travel to Belfast to take on Instonians in their final All Ireland Provincial League game, with Dundalk almost assured of the title the Tipperary side will be left with their defence of the Munster Junior Cup.

There are two finals down for decision on Sunday.

Skibbereen and Thurles go head to head in the Munster Junior Plate decider at Fermoy. The Premier County side are seeking their fourth title while the West Cork side have never won this trophy.

A new name will be inscribed on the Munster Junior Bowel as Sunday’s Well and Ennis contest the decider at Irish Independent Park.
