In a relatively quiet weekend there is a full program of games across Divisions 2A, 2B and 2C of the Ulster Bank All Ireland League, with a handful of Junior games.
Fourth-placed Bruff and leaders Old Crescent get proceedings underway at Kilballyowen Park in Division 2C. The home side will be looking to make the most of home advantage count in their bid to avenge their narrow 14-12 defeat at Rosbrien last time out.
On Saturday in Division 2A, Cashel travel to Galway to take on bottom side Corinthians and they will be aiming to make it two wins out of two against the Galway side.
Premier County neighbours Nenagh Ormond will be looking to make home advantage count in their bid to climb up the table as they host Naas, who they defeated 10-7 at Forenaughts last time out.
UCC face a tricky assignment as they travel to Limerick to take on struggling Thomond at Liam Fitzgerald Park.
In Division 2B second-placed Highfield travel to County Kildare to take on struggling MU Barnhall and Leeside neighbours Sunday’s Well, who are in fifth place, welcome seventh-placed Dungannon to Irish Independent Park.
Kanturk and Midleton lock horns in Division 2C at the Duhallow venue with the home side aiming to avenge last week’s 25-0 defeat at Towns Park.
There is a handful of games in both the Munster Junior League and two of the divisional knock-out competitions.
Muskerry, who are hovering above the drop zone in Division 1 of the Munster Junior League, will have their work cut out as they entertain Galbally at the Mid Cork venue.
Newcastle West face a tricky task as they entertain Kilfeacle and Waterpark welcome third-placed Richmond to Ballinakill.
Ballincollig, who are coming off the back of three successive defeats, will be expected to claim maximum points as they travel to West Waterford to take on bottom side Dungarvan in Division 2 and record their first win since they defeated Mallow on a 24-10 scoreline at the North Cork venue in early October.
Mallow, who are now in the relegation zone and still without a win, entertain North Cork neighbours Charleville, who are in eighth place.
Cobh Pirates travel to the Kingdom to take on struggling Tralee and Castleisland make the long trip to Suirside to take on Waterford City in a mid-table encounter at Kilbarry.
In Division 3 third-placed Fermoy will be looking to get back to winning ways following their recent defeat by Youghal as they host Killarney at the Showgrounds. The Kerry side, who are sixth, are coming off the back of a 13-12 away win over Fethard.
Clanwilliam take on St Senan’s in the quarter final of the Munster Junior Clubs’ Challenge Shield in Tipperary Town, with the winners advancing to a home semi-final meeting with Galbally.
Crosshaven travel to West Cork to take on Bantry Bay in the quarter final of the Martin O’Sullivan Cup. The winners will meet Fermoy at the North Cork venue in the semi-final.
Division 3 leaders Youghal make the long trip to the West Kerry Gaeltacht to take on fifth-placed Chorca Dhuibhne, who were surprisingly defeated by Kingdom neighbours Killorglin at the same venue last time out in the semi final of the Martin O’Sullivan Cup.
