The Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Cup quarter-finals are the highlight of the weekend’s programme of games in a relatively quiet weekend because of the Ireland v New Zealand game in Dublin.

Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Cup holders Richmond travel to West Cork to take on Bandon.
Richmond opened their defence of the trophy with a 24-7 away win at Cobh while Bandon defeated Clonmel in their opening game 21-6.
Bandon, who exited the All Ireland Junior Cup against Ashbourne last weekend, recorded a narrow 6-5 home win when these sides met on the second weekend of the league campaign at the same venue.
Kilfeacle make the relatively short trip to County Limerick to take on Galbally. The home side were also knocked out of the All Ireland Junior Cup and they will be looking to make the most of home advantage if they are to progress from this tough assignment.
Skibbereen face a tricky task as they welcome St Senan’s to West Cork. The Clare side recorded a comprehensive 41-9 victory when these sides met in the League at Jimmy Slattery Park.
Elsewhere, Clonakilty travel to West Limerick to take on Newcastle West. Both these sides received byes and form favours a home win.
The only other games are in the Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Shield and Division 3 of the Munster Junior League
Charleville, who recorded a surprise 32-15 victory over Ballincollig last weekend in the Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Shield, take on Crosshaven at Smith’s Road. The Seasiders recorded a 33-29 win when these sides met at the same venue in the league a month ago. Kinsale await the winners in the semi-finals.
In Division 3 of the Munster Junior League, Bantry Bay, who are propping up the table, face a tough assignment as they travel to the West Kerry Gaeltacht to take on Chorca Dhuibhne, who can close the gap on the leaders with a home win.
