There was one Ulster Bank League game and a full programme of junior games played over the weekend.
Sunday's Well's recent good run in Division 2A of the Ulster Bank League came unstuck at Irish Independent Park on Saturday when Queen's University took the spoils with a 21-15 victory.
The Belfast students looked like they would run riot in the opening ten minutes as they raced into a 10-0 lead and were 13-3 ahead at the break. Shane O'Riordan kicked a penalty for the home side.
A late surge by the 'Well that yielded tries by Shane Desmond and Mark Chandler and an O'Riordan conversion earned them a losing bonus point.
In Division 1 of the Munster Junior League, Clonmel maintained their unbeaten run with a 20-3 home win over Kilfeacle.
The game ended prematurely when referee Enda O'Shea had to retire with a leg injury with eight minutes remaining.
Shane Looby gave Kilfeacle the lead with a penalty but tries from Jack Oostuysen, Mark Corby and Luke Hogan and a conversion and penalty by Conor Cooney earned Clonmel the points.
Despite taking an early lead, Cobh Pirates lost away to Newcastle West, 34-5. Cian Hinchey, Tommy Kelliher, Declan Moloney and Sean Herlihy scored tries for Newcastle West. Herlihy converted all four and also added two penalties.
Clanwilliam defeated Muskerry 26-12 to move into second place two points behind the leaders. Niall Leahy scored two tries and three conversions and Darragh Crowe and Jack Grey got a try each, Dave Hennessey and Pat O'Rourke replied with tries for Muskerry.
St. Senan's maintained their challenge with a 41-9 home win over Skibbereen.
Despite playing into the wind the Clare side raced into a 15-0 lead after twelve minutes with two tries from Adrian McMahon and a conversion and penalty by Dave O'Loughlin.
Three penalties from Denis McCarthy left it 15-9 at half-time.
Three tries from Brian Collins and one by O'Loughlin, three of which O'Loughlin converted earned Senan's maximum points.
Galbally lost ground on the leaders after their 21-19 away defeat at Abbeyfeale.
Tom Hassett and Derry O'Connor scored tries for Abbeyfeale and Hassett kicked a conversion and three penalties.
Bandon won their local derby with a 20-0 home win over Clonakilty. Scot Mogford scored two tries for Bandon and Des Prendergast got one. Sean Óg Murphy added a conversion and a penalty.
Richmond defeated Old Christians 20-13 at Rathcooney. Brian Mullins opened the scoring with a penalty for Richmond and John Marnell levelled for the home side. A try from Pat McNamara and a second Marnell penalty left Richmond 8-6 ahead at half time.
Tries from Sammy Farag and Kieran Bennett and a Mullins conversion gave the visitors a 20-6 lead.
A late try from Aidan Ware which Marnell converted secured Old Christians a losing bonus point, their first point of the campaign.
Waterpark won the top of the table clash in Division Two with a 15-3 home win over Waterford City.
A try from Paddy Kiersey gave Waterpark a 5-3 interval lead. Michael Hayes kicked a penalty for the visitors.
Scot Hornibrook added a second try for the home side and John O'Brien kicked a conversion and a penalty.
Youghal continued their good run with an 18-13 away win at Mallow. Youghal were awarded a penalty try and Jimmy Barron also scored a try. Keith McCarthy kicked a conversion and two penalties. Johnny Forrest replied with a try for Mallow and Jimmy Glynn added three penalties.
Thurles maintained their challenge with a 41-24 bonus point away win over Ballincollig.
Aidan Dwyer scored two ties for Thurles, Ger Moloney, Eoin O'Dwyer, Tommy Connolly and Nicky Irwin also crossed the white wash. John Lillis kicked four conversions and a penalty.
Paudge Flynn scored two tries for Ballincollig, Taljaard Hardus and Humphrey O'Mahony also got tries. Charlie Boland kicked two conversions.
A last minute try from Evan Maverly earned Crosshaven a 33-29 away win over Charleville.
Chris Murray and Michael Lynch also scored tries for the visitors. Ian Smith converted all three and added four penalties.
Ger Sheehan and Dave Stahlberg replied with tries for the home side and Michael Flynn converted both and kicked five penalties.
Presentation lost at home to St. Mary's, 22-13.
The Saints had tries from Brian Purcell, Greg Barry and a penalty try. Adam Guerin kicked two conversions and a penalty.
Presentation replied with a try from Leonard Slattery and a conversion and two penalties by Greg Airey.
Castleisland defeated Ennis 44-26 at the Clare venue in game that produced eight tries.
Castleisland had two ties from Willie Casey, and Kieran Downey, Patrick O'Connor and Michael Cronin got one each.
Dan O'Shea kicked two conversions and five penalties.
Enda Galvin, Jason Smith and Adam Ryan replied with tries for Ennis and Dave Murphy kicked three penalties and a conversion.
Kinsale picked up their first win of the campaign with a 21-10 home win over Tralee to move off the bottom of the table. Sean Kingston, Conor Murphy and Fergus Gimblett were Kinsale's try scorers and Timmy Broderick kicked two penalties.
Killorglin defeated Chorca Dhuibhne 29-12 to regain top spot in Division Three with tries from Andrew O'Reilly, Brian Hayes, Tiernan Clifford and John Michael Cronin-O'Reilly. Luke O'Shea added three conversions and a penalty.
Shane O'Rourke and Ciaran Collins replied with tries for the visitors and Tip Delaney kicked a conversion.
Mitchelstown defeated Dungarvan 22-15 in a game that also doubled up as a Martin O'Sullivan Cup tie.
Mark Kavanagh, James Hennessy and Patrick McGee scored tries for the north Cork side and Patrick Molloy kicked two conversions and a penalty.
Stephen Phelan and David Hickey replied with tries for Dungarvan and hickey kicked a conversion and a penalty.
