The Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Challenge Cup continues this weekend, together with various Junior competitions across the province.

In Group 1 of the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Challenge Cup, the game of the day is the meeting of Cork Constitution and last year’s beaten finalists Nenagh Ormond at Temple Hill.

Both sides collected maximum points from their respective openers against Highfield and Shannon last time out.

Shannon and Highfield go head to head at Coonagh, with both sides seeking their first points.

Holders Young Munster entertain UCC at Tom Clifford Park in Group 2. Young Munster, following their 15-5 away win over Garryowen, will be looking to make it two wins from two. The Students are seeking their first points following their 13-3 defeat by Cashel at the Spafield.

Cashel welcome Garryowen to the Premier County, with Cashel looking to make it two wins from two, while the Sky Blues are seeking their first points.

Clonmel will be looking to bounce back from their narrow 29-27 defeat by Dolphin at Musgrave Park, where they claimed a losing bonus point, as they welcome Old Crescent to South Tipperary in Group 3.

In Group 4, Bruff who recorded a narrow 23-22 win over UL Bohemian at Annacotty, entertain Midleton.

In West Munster, Killorglin are at home to Chorca Dhuibhne on Saturday in Group 1 of the McElligott Cup.

In Group 2, holders Tralee lock horns with Killarney at O’Dowd Park.

There are two Transfield Cup ties down for decision in North Munster this weekend.
On Sunday, Abbeyfeale lock horns with West Limerick neighbours Newcastle West in a local derby and Bruff entertain Shannon at Kilballyowen Park.

In Tipperary, Thurles entertain Clonmel on Friday and the winners will be away to Cashel or Kilfeacle.

On Sunday, Carrick-on Suir begin their Casey Cup campaign against Dungarvan at Tybroughney.
