There is only one senior game this weekend, with just one week to go before the commencement of the All Ireland League.

Young Munster entertain U.C.C. at Tom Clifford Park on Thursday evening in the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup Group 2. A win would see Young Munster claim pole positon in their group and put them through to the semi-finals.

There is plenty of local Junior action in South Munster, North Munster, Tipperary, Kerry and Waterford.

In the first semi-final of the Cork Charity Cup, Highfield, who last won the trophy in 1974, entertain near neighbours UCC, whose last triumph was in 1981, on Friday evening. The winners will meet holders Cork Constitution or Midleton, who last won the trophy in 2006, in the decider.

In the Cork County Cup semi-finals, holders Sunday’s Well entertain Mallow at Virgin Media Park on Saturday evening. The winners will meet Clonakilty or Bandon, who lock horns in a West Cork derby at the Vale on Sunday.

Last year’s beaten finalists Old Christians make the relatively short trip the Paddocks to take on Cobh Pirates in their O’Neill Cup semi-final. The winners will meet Kinsale, who won the trophy two years ago, or Charleville, who go head to head at the South Cork venue.

Holders Thomond take on Old Crescent at Takumi Park in the Transfield Cup semi-finals. St Mary’s or last year’s beaten finalists Richmond, who meet at Grove Island, await the winners in the decider.

Kilfeacle entertain near neighbours Cashel at the West Tipperary venue in the second semi-final of the Mansergh Cup. Nenagh Ormond await the winners.

Fethard and Clanwilliam go head to head for the first silverware of the season as they contest the Garryowen Cup decider at Fethard.

There is one game in the McElligott Cup where Castleisland entertain Chorca Dhuibhne. A win would see Castleisland finishing their group programme in pole position.

In Waterford, the Casey Cup continues.

Leaders Waterpark, who claimed maximum points from their 36-10 home win over Carrick-on-Suir, travel to West Waterford, to take on Dungarvan, who were defeated 25-0 at home by Waterford City.

Waterford City, who put up 25 points without reply against Dungarvan, make the relatively short trip to Tybroughney, to take on Carrick-on-Suir. Carrick-on-Suir are also seeking their first win, following their 36-10 away defeat by Waterpark.
