This weekend there is one game in Division 2A down for decision, together with the two Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup semi-finals.
On Sunday, there is a full list of games across the Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Cup, Plate and Bowl competitions, together with one game in Division 2 of the Munster Junior League.
In Division 2A of the All Ireland League, Cashel, who are fifth, entertain third-placed MU Barnhall. Cashel defeated Greystones 20-15 last time out at the Spafield. MU Barnhall have climbed up to third following their maximum-point 34-29 home win over Navan. Cashel are level with Greystones on 45 points, but behind on scoring differences. MU Barnhall ran out 30-17 winners when they met Cashel in County Kildare in December.
In the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup semi-finals, Old Crescent welcome Clonmel, to Takumi Park on Thursday evening. The winners will meet Young Munster or Nenagh Ormond, who lock horns at Tom Clifford Park in Friday evening’s second semi-final in the decider.
On Sunday, Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Cup holders UCC begin their defence of the trophy against Kanturk at the Duhallow venue. The winners will have home advantage in the next round against Cobh Pirates, whose only triumph was in 2006 or Abbeyfeale, who won the trophy in 1964 and 1966.
Cork Constitution, who lead the roll of honour with 19 Munster Junior Cup titles, go head to head with Skibbereen at Temple Hill. The winners will be at home to Carrick-on-Suir or Mallow, who meet at Tybroughney.
Bandon, whose only triumph was in 2017, lock horns with 1997 and 1998 winners Midleton at Old Chapel. The winners will be at home to Ballincollig or Shannon, who last won the trophy in 2015.
Cashel, who won the trophy in 2011, entertain Garryowen, whose last triumph was in 2023, at the Spafield. The winners will be away to Old Crescent or Thurles, who meet at Takumi Park.
Charleville welcome 2014 winners Clonmel to Smith’s Road. The winners will be away to Muskerry or Sunday’s Well, who meet at Ellis Park.
Newcastle West welcome Crosshaven to West Limerick and the winners will be rewarded with home advantage against Thomond in the next round.
St Mary’s and Old Christians, whose only triumphs were in 1968 and 1965 respectively, Go head to head at Grove Island. The winners will be rewarded with a home tie against Nenagh Ormond, who last won the trophy in 2004 or 2001 winners Clonakilty.
UL Bohemian, who were the last side to record back-to back triumphs in 2009 and 2010, welcome 2019 winners Highfield to Annacotty. The winners will be at home to 2002 winners Kilfeacle, or Richmond, who last won the trophy in 1952.
There are two first round ties and one quarter final down for decision in the Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Plate.
Dolphin and Waterpark, whose only triumphs in the Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Plate were in 1985 and 2016 respectively, go head to head in the opening round at Virgin Media Park. The winners will be away to Bruff in the quarter final.
Tralee, who won the trophy in 2019, welcome 1994 winners Clanwilliam to the Kingdom. The winners will be away to Kinsale in the quarter finals.
In the two quarter finals, Ennis entertain Killarney, who won the trophy in 2011 and 2013 in the Banner County. The winners will have home advantage in the semi-finals against Tralee, Clanwilliam or Kinsale.
In the Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Bowl, Dungravan, who won the trophy in 2017, welcome Scariff to West Waterford. The winners will have a home semi-final against Killorglin or Youghal, who meet in Mid Kerry.
In Division 2 of the Munster Junior League, Castleisland welcome Fermoy to the Kingdom. Castleisland, who have two games in hand, will be looking to take another step closer to safety, following their narrow 24-22 home win over Charleville. Fermoy, who are second from bottom, recorded a narrow 33-31 home win over St Senan’s.
