The Men’s and Women’s All-Ireland League finals take place at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday. The Promotion Play-off finals of the lower divisions of the Men’s AIL are also down for decision on Saturday.

The Junior Interprovincial Series get underway this weekend and there are also a handful of Junior finals locally.

The game of the weekend is the Men’s All-Ireland League decider, which sees defending champions Cork Constitution taking on Clontarf. The Lilywhites will be looking to emulate Shannon, as they try to retain the title for the first time and also record a record-equalling eighth triumph. The Dublin side will be seeking their fourth triumph and their first title since 2022. Clontarf won both games between these sides during the regular AIL season. They recorded a 20-16 victory over Cork Constitution on Leeside in October and ran out 15-13 winners in February’s corresponding fixture in Dublin. The Lilywhites claimed losing bonus points on both occasions.

Nenagh Ormond and UCC go head to head in the Division 1A Promotion Play-off decider in North Tipperary. The Premier County side won both games against UCC in the regular AIL season. They ran out 34-25 winners on Leeside in their last game before Christmas and claimed all points on offer. Nenagh Ormond recorded a narrow 38-34 bonus point victory when the Leeside Students came to North Tipperary for the first AIL game of 2025. UCC claimed two bonus points, as they scored four tries.

Cashel, who finished second in Division 2A, travel to the Capital to take on Dublin University, who are battling against a second successive relegation, in the Division 1B Promotion/Relegation Play-off final.

Midleton , who finished second in Division 2C, are away to Skerries, who finished second from bottom of Division 2B in their Promotion/Relegation Play-off decider.

Munster League champions Thomond travel to County Tyrone to take on Omagh Academicals, who finished second from bottom in Division 2C, as they aim to return to the AIL after a six-year absence.

In the Women’s AIL decider, defending champions UL Bohemian lock horns with Railway Union. This is a repeat of last year’s final, which the Limerick side won 48-38, to claim their 14th title. The Dublin side, who are looking to win the title for the third time, won both games against UL Bohemian over the course of the regular AIL season. Railway Union recorded a narrow 19-18 win in Limerick in October and they defeated UL Bohemian 17-10 in Dublin in March. On both occasions, UL Bohemian claimed losing bonus points.

The Junior Interprovincial series gets underway on Saturday as Munster travel to Westport to take on Connacht.

The Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Bowl decider between Waterford City and Youghal takes place at Virgin Media Park on Saturday. Waterford City are looking to record their second triumph, while the East Cork side are looking to win the trophy for the first time. When these sides met in Division 3 of the Munster Junior League on Suirside in March, Youghal claimed all points on offer, as they scored eight tries in a 54-21 victory.

This final is being followed by the South Munster Junior 2 Cup final between Bantry Bay and Highfield.
