Garryowen face Nenagh Ormond in the Sporting Limerick Charity Cup final

It is a relatively quiet weekend with one Senior game together with a handful of games across the three Junior divisional knock-out competitions and Division 2 of the Munster Junior League. Full fixture list.

Proceedings get underway in Limerick on Friday evening as Garryowen and Nenagh Ormond contest the Sporting Limerick Charity Cup final at the Markets Field, with the North Tipperary side looking to win the competition for the first time. Full preview.

There are three games in Division 2 of the Munster Junior League.

On Saturday evening, joint leaders Crosshaven travel to the Kingdom to take on Castleisland, with the South Cork side aiming to move ahead of Thurles in pole position.

On Sunday, Ballincollig welcome St Mary’s, who are joint second with Clonakilty to Tanner Park. The Mid Cork side will have their work cut out as promotion-cashing St Mary’s will be looking to maintain their challenge following their 14-6 defeat by Castleisland.

Mitchelstown, who recorded their first win of the campaign against Killarney face a tough assignment as they host Clonakilty, who are looking to return to the top flight at the first time of asking.

The quarter finals of the Munster Junior Clubs’ Challenge Cup are down for decision on Sunday.

Holders Kilfeacle continue their defence of the trophy with a home tie against Kanturk, who won the trophy in 2013. The winners will be rewarded with a home semi-final against Richmond or Clonmel, who lock horns at Richmond Park.

Clanwilliam are at home to Bandon and the winners will have a home semi-final against Waterpark or Skibbereen, who go head to head at Ballinakill.

Old Christians are at home to holders Thurles in the Munster Junior Clubs’ Challenge Shield and the winners will have home advantage against Clonakilty in the semi-finals.

In the Martin O’Sullivan Cup, Ennis make the long trip to the West Kerry Gaeltacht to meet Chorca Dhuibhne. The winners will be rewarded with a home semi-final tie against Killorglin.
